Agentic Phone

Early access · invites in small batches

Your agent can think. Now let it pick up the phone.

Agentic Phone gives every AI agent its own number, real-time voice in both directions, and call events streamed straight to your code. No carrier contracts. No SIP trunks.

In development. Joining the list is free and creates no account.

Hi, I need to move my Thursday appointment.

Sure. I have Friday at 10:30 or 2:00. Which works?

Ten thirty, please.

The phone is the one channel your agent still can’t use.

Your agent already reads email, answers chat, and calls APIs. But a large share of real customer conversations still happen by phone.

Getting an agent onto a call today means buying numbers from a carrier, wiring a media server, gluing speech-to-text to text-to-speech, and fighting latency until the conversation stops feeling robotic.

We think that should be one API call.

What we’re building

A number for every agent

Create a real phone number in code, attach it to an agent, and release it when you are done.

Voice that keeps up

Inbound and outbound calls with streaming audio, so your agent can listen, think, and reply without awkward gaps.

Events, not plumbing

Transcripts, tool calls, and call state arrive as events in your code. Bring the model and framework you already use.

Three steps from agent to phone call.

  1. 1
    Get a number
    One call returns a live number tied to your agent.
  2. 2
    Point it at your agent
    Give us a webhook or a socket. We send speech in and play your replies out.
  3. 3
    Take and place calls
    Answer inbound, dial out, transfer to a human, and get a transcript when it ends.
// illustrative — API not final
const line = await phone.numbers.create({
  agent: "scheduler",
  region: "US",
});

line.on("turn", async (turn) => {
  return myAgent.reply(turn.transcript);
});

What will your agent do on the phone?

  • Confirm and reschedule appointments
  • Qualify inbound leads
  • Call customers about deliveries
  • Answer after-hours support lines
  • Run phone surveys and follow-ups
  • Book reservations

Questions

Can I use it today?
Not yet. Agentic Phone is in development. We open access in small batches and email you when your spot is ready.
What will it cost?
We will announce pricing before the first invites go out. Early-access members see it first, and joining the list costs nothing.
Which countries will you support?
We will confirm launch countries before the first invites go out. Tell us where your callers are when you join, and we will use that to plan the rollout.
Do I have to switch models or frameworks?
No. We are designing it to work with any agent that can receive an event and send back text.
